While regular matcha is made by blending multiple origins and varieties, the "Rokkaku no Toki" series is Morihan's unique lineup that uses only one variety of tea leaves.
The unique individuality of each variety is expressed in a hexagonal chart, allowing you to enjoy the difference in taste even before you drink it.
This "Hoshun" variety was born from a natural crossbreed of "Samidori" at the Kyoto Prefectural Tea Research Institute and is attracting attention as a tea leaf suitable for gyokuro.
