Morihan Uji Gyokuro Kuninohomare 120g
Morihan Uji Gyokuro Kuninohomare 120g
Authentic Uji Gyokuro in a can, crafted by Morihan, a long-established tea merchant founded in 1836.
This gyokuro is from Kyoto Prefecture, renowned as the birthplace of Uji tea, one of Japan's three great teas alongside Shizuoka tea and Sayama tea.
The tea leaves, carefully grown using a special method called oohishita cultivation, are characterized by a rich, thick sweetness and flavor, as well as a "covered aroma" similar to that of nori seaweed.
Carefully selected by the tea masters of Morihan, a long-established tea merchant founded in Uji/Kokura in 1836 and twice winner of the All Japan Tea Judging Skills Competition, this product fully captures the true sweetness and umami of gyokuro.
Packed in a can for excellent shelf life, it also makes a great gift.
