Five dashi ingredients - bonito, dried sardines, mackerel flakes, kelp, and shiitake mushrooms - are exquisitely blended with fish extract to create a rich, flavorful broth. Simply add the ingredients and simmer to create an authentic chanko nabe that brings out the umami of the chicken, vegetables, tofu, and more. Rice porridge or udon noodles are also recommended after the hot pot.
