Hagiri Shizuoka Tea Gift Abe no Shizuku 90g x 2 Product Details "Ultra-shallow-steamed Sencha" made using the traditional Shizuoka mountain method. Made with the first harvest of tea leaves. To maximize the aroma and flavor of the fresh leaves, the tea is steamed for a short time, preserving the shape of the tea leaves. Due to the large size of the tea leaves, please allow time for them to open after pouring into the teapot before pouring into your teacup. We recommend using a teapot with an integrated strainer rather than a detachable one. We recommend a Banko teapot. This tea is grown in tea plantations scattered throughout the remote mountainous areas at an altitude of over 200m. "Tea is originally a mountain plant." Tea plants require a lot of moisture, and high-quality fresh leaves cannot be cultivated without well-drained soil. Grown in harsh natural environments, including abundant rainfall of over 1,500 mm per year, well-drained soil due to the mountain slope, and large temperature differences between day and night, summer and winter, mountain tea produces tea with an astonishingly rich aroma and flavor. This incredibly rich tea is crafted using the "Extremely Shallow Steaming Method" to maximize the flavor of the tea leaves, making it a "tea that only Hakiri can make." Recommended Drinking Instructions (Hot Water Brewing) 1. Pour 200 ml of boiling water into a teacup and cool to about 70°C. 2. Place 6 g of tea leaves (2 heaping tablespoons) and the cooled water into a teapot. 3. After 60 seconds for the first brew and 10 seconds for the second brew, pour evenly into the teacup, down to the last drop.
